1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Reskill.now platform ("Platform", "Service") operated by Reskill.now ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at support@reskill.now.

4. Access and future plans

Reskill.now currently offers free access to all learning pathways, lessons, and community features. No payment is required. We may introduce paid tiers (“Pro”) in the future with additional features such as 1:1 mentorship, AI resume building, and job placement support. We will notify existing users before any paid features are introduced.

5. Future paid services

When paid tiers become available, pricing, billing terms, and refund policies will be communicated clearly before purchase. No user will be automatically charged without explicit consent.

6. Account deletion

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support at support@reskill.now. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.

7. Content ownership and licence

All course content, including videos, written materials, quizzes, and project templates, is owned by Reskill.now and is protected by copyright. As a user, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the content for your personal learning purposes.

You may not:

• Redistribute, sell, or share course content with third parties.
• Record, download, or reproduce video or written content beyond what the Platform provides.
• Use content for commercial training or teaching purposes without written permission.

8. Your content

Any content you create on the Platform (portfolio projects, community posts, forum discussions) remains your intellectual property. By posting content to community areas, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it within the Platform. You may delete your content at any time.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Attempt to interfere with the Platform's infrastructure or security.
• Post offensive, harassing, or discriminatory content in community areas.
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the Platform without permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

10. AI-powered features

The Platform includes AI-powered features such as the AI coaching assistant, risk assessments, and personalised recommendations. These features are provided for educational and informational purposes only. AI-generated advice should not be treated as professional career, financial, or legal guidance.

11. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• Specific employment outcomes, salary increases, or career transitions.
• The accuracy of AI-generated content or career recommendations.
• Uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform.

Career transition outcomes depend on individual effort, market conditions, and many other factors outside our control.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reskill.now shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on the Platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
